Coral rugs, are not only versatile, and easy to integrate into the color scheme of a room, but they create a nice modern look as well.  However, as is the case with many patterns it is always wise to keep the other fabrics in your room more understated and simpler in nature.  By integrating too many patterns that are bolder (like a coral pattern) you can create a look and feel that is too “busy”.   Furthermore we would advise against using more than one instance of a coral print in a room.  So if you were to have accent pillows with a coral print, adding lamps with a coral print in that room may be overdoing it.
